We're thrilled you're considering St Laurence as your wedding ceremony venue.
We can seat up to 200 guests, and the church can be made available the day before for decoration.
2025 Fees
Wedding Service in church - £544
Wedding Banns - £37
Banns Certificate - £19.00
Winter Heating (from October - March) - £110 - £150 depending on duration.
Organist - £80.00 (please note the fee is doubled if the service is recorded)
Verger - £50
Marriage Preparation - £50
Bells - based on availability of bellringers.

If you're looking for a low cost reception option, we can also host your reception in Shambles Hall on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Saturday evenings can be available after the market (from 5.30pm). Please note this includes the venue hire only, and all food, drink, decoration, and licenses (such as a Temporary Events Notice for the serving of alcohol) would have to be arranged yourselves.
