St Laurence is located right in the heart of Stroud. This central location places us in easy reach of shops, cafés, and the vibrant arts scene that Stroud is known for. We are located near the top of the high street, at the end of the historic Shambles.
OPENING TIMES
We are open to the public from 10.30am - 12.30pm on Saturday mornings. We are also open during all of our services and events, but do not currently have the capacity to be open to the public regularly.

St Laurence is located right next to Church Street Short Stay car park (up to 3 hours).

PARKING
We are located next to Church Street Car Park with 5 Disabled bays.
There are a short set of uneven steps between the car park and the church, or there is level access by going out onto the High Street past The Retreat pub, turning right, then right again by Costa Coffee onto the Shambles.
TOILETS
All toilets are located in Shambles Hall, there are no facilities in the church. There is an accessible toilet with a baby changing mat.
WHEELCHAIR & ASSISTED ACCESS
There is ramped access into the church. Please be aware that in places the floor is uneven with some loose tiles. The Lady Chapel and choir vestry have three steps to access.
There is ramped access to Shambles Hall. The Upper Room is up a flight of stairs with no lift access.
HEARING LOOP
For events and services that use our sound system, we have a hearing loop that works with hearing aids.
Please ask if you need assistance connecting to the system.
Please note that these do not work on acoustic events, or events that bring their own sound system (festivals / large hire events, but they may have their own facilities).
Tickets
For events that have been arranged by St Laurence, all sales go through our Ticketsource. So that we can pay our artists as much as we can, we do pass on the booking fee that Ticketsource charges to the customer. If you can book your tickets in advance, please do - this gives us a clear idea of numbers. If an event has poor pre-sales, it is likely to be cancelled.
If you have booked though our Ticketsource, you do not need to print off tickets - we have a list of names attending, and you will just need to give your surname at the door.
For events that have been booked as a hire, ticket links may take you to other ticket booking sites. Please follow their own advice on whether to print tickets.
