The Phoenix Choir concert this spring will raise funds for the wonderful work of ‘Mindsong’ and the Trinity Rooms Community Hub will provide their usual delicious refreshments.

There will be some beautiful songs, ancient and modern, including Crucifixus by Lotti from the 17 th century, The Lily and the Rose by a popular current composer Bob Chilcott and one of our favourite pieces ‘Luminous night of the Soul’ by Ola Gjeilowith. With our wonderful Children’s Choir it promises to be a warm and inviting event. The concert will last approximately one and a quarter hours.

The Phoenix Choir is a non-audition, community-based, inspiring group of singers who share a love of creating beautiful music to share with our audiences. We raise money throughout the year for various charities and we are delighted to welcome our young singers from The Lantern Home Education and ‘Young Voices’
from Whiteshill Stroud.

Pianist: Bartholomew Mason and Josh Crunden pianist and organist.
String Quartet: Bartholomew Mason, Cathy Hill, Rebekah Allan and Ben Cashell
Conductor: Caroline Thompson
